Governing Council Term July 2023-June 2025
Thank you for your interest in serving on the Prescott OLLI Governing Council. There are 11 Council members; elected by the membership for two year terms, in alternate years for overlapping service. Members may serve for 6 consecutive years.

Candidates need to submit 3 things below:

1. Statement of why you are running (100 word limit). This will be included with the ballot.
2. Write a brief bio
3. Attach a "head shot" of yourself. This will also be included with the ballot.

In addition, there will be a Candidate Forum in early May. Please plan to attend in person or via Zoom and speak 3 minutes about yourself and your goals for OLLI.

Governing Council Members:

• Represent the membership at Council meetings and bring all requested items and actions to the Council
• Attend the ten Council meetings each year (none in December and June)
• Engaging in OLLI business decisions
• Approving the Budget
• Developing and approving goals for the fiscal year
• Setting policy
• Council members are expected to serve on at least one committee, and to serve as a liaison to at least one committee.
