The Yavapai College Foundation's Roger Runyan Employee Career Enhancement Award provides financial assistance to full-time staff of Yavapai College actively seeking increased professionalism and effectiveness through educational enrichment opportunities.
Applications may be for seminars, workshops, or related degree and certificate programs that will serve to enhance the staff member's work environment.
DEADLINES AND REQUIREMENTS
Applications for the fiscal year 2024-2025 are due by noon on Thursday, June 20th, 2024. Awards will be announced at the July 11th Welcome Back YCSA Meeting. Applications received after the expressed deadline will not be considered.
In addition to completing this form, the following written recommendations are required and can be uploaded below.
- Cover Letter
- Prepare a cover letter stating your goal and what you have accomplished to date toward this goal. Describe your plan and commitment to completing it. Outline the benefit to Yavapai College to be derived from your participation.
- Co-Worker Recommendation
- Supervisor Recommendation
Awards are based on competitive evaluation of application materials. Recipients will be awarded during the year of application. Awards are not transferable to other persons, departments, or divisions and must be used during the year of application.
Upon presentation of an officially receipted registration or tuition payment, the recipient shall be reimbursed for approved tuition, fees, and other expenses up to the amount of the award. Successful applicants may receive funding for no more than two consecutive years.
