  •  YC Prescott Tour

    Yavapai College offers a rewarding educational experience and beautiful settings in the mountains of central Arizona. In addition it offers dozens and dozens of certificate programs, associate and transfer degrees.

    The Prescott campus is also home to Roughrider athletic teams in baseball, soccer, volleyball, softball and e-sports. Special campus features include an art gallery and sculpture garden, a computer commons, and a state-of the-art library. Residence halls offer affordable housing in a comfortable and safe community, providing the opportunity to develop quality study skills, meet new people, and to grow through new experiences.

  •  YC Verde Valley Tour

    The Verde Valley Campus in Clarkdale is a beautiful, state-of-the-art campus that offers more than a dozen degree programs, some 20 certificate programs and a selection of courses ranging from accounting to viticulture.

    The campus features well-equipped classrooms, computer lab, modern library, new student union, an art gallery and arts center, learning center, fitness center, veterans programs, the iconic Mabery Pavilion and other community gathering places, up-to-date education technology, a robust data center, state-of-the-art labs and complementary landscaping.

  •  YC Career & Technical Education Center (CTEC) Tour

    Housing Yavapai College’s trade and technical programs, the Career and Technical Education Center is a state-of-the-art facility accommodating programs and equipment that require a large square footage footprint to house specific equipment. CTEC provides students with a hands-on training facility that will give them a chance at better employment and the ability to stay in Prescott to go to school instead of leaving the area to attend technical schools.

    Located on Ruger Road near the Prescott Airport, the Yavapai College Career and Technical Education Center is the premier learning center for career and technical education (CTE) in Yavapai County. The CTEC building is the former Ruger Building and is 108,000 sq. ft. and sits on an 8-acre site.

    The Center is home to programs such as 3D printing, advanced manufacturing, automotive, aviation, CNC machining, construction science, diesel technology, electronics, engineering, fire science, gunsmithing, welding, unmanned aircraft systems (drones), and more.

  •  YC Chino Valley Center Tour

    The Chino Valley Agribusiness & Science Technology Center houses courses in Agriculture Technology, Horticulture, Animal Care, Canine Care, Service Dog, Equine Care, Linework, and Construction. The campus is also home to our Commercial Driving program and is an ADOT-authorized testing site.

    YC's Chino Valley Center programs offer students hands-on experience in state-of-the-art learning facilities, allowing students to learn in a real-world environment and preparing them for careers in specialized and well-paying industries.

  •  YC Prescott Valley Center Tour

    —3800 North Glassford Hill Rd., Prescott Valley, Arizona 86314

     

    The recently renovated Prescott Valley Center houses most of YC’s Allied Health programs, including: Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, and Caregiver. Allied Health has partnered with Mountain Institute CTED to offer high school students a jump-start in their health careers. Students use fully-equipped medical assistant exam rooms, phlebotomy blood draw lab, hospital rooms and classrooms. Certificate programs also include Medical Office Assistant and Medical Records Technician.

    The Prescott Valley Center is also home to the Radiology Department, which offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology as well as Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) post-primary certificate programs. Students use PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), a medical imaging application that provides access to images from different sources, and learn radiographic positioning and techniques in a dual-lab environment.

    The center also provides an Admission Advisor who can assist students.

  •  YC Sedona Center Tour

    The Yavapai College Sedona Center is an inspiring location — the perfect environment to achieve your educational goals. Home to a variety of WebLive classrooms and community spaces, the center also houses Yavapai College Sedona Culinary Arts Program, where students learn in our two state-of-the-industry teaching kitchens.

    The Center features a nationally recognized Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. OLLI Sedona-Verde offers academic, not-for-credit programming for adults 50 years and beyond. In addition to OLLI Sedona-Verde Valley, lifelong learners may participate in a variety of Community Education programs including foreign language, art, and photography.

    At the Center, we've hosted a variety of community events, including Chamber of Commerce mixers, media events, and even weddings. Our space may be available for your special event or program!

  • About Group Tours:

    Group tours are intended for a tour booked for a high school or organization.

    If you are an individual or family, please click the back button to request an individual tour. 

    • Group tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
    • A recruitment specialist will be in contact with you to coordinate your visit details and obtain a list of the students who will be attending the tour.
    • You must provide one chaperone per 15-20 students. Chaperones are expected to stay with the group for the duration of the visit. 
    • Groups wishing to cancel a tour must do so at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled visit. 

  • About Individual Tours:

    Individual tours are intended for an individual or a group of prospective students not coming as part of a high school or organization visit. 

     

    During your visit, you'll learn about YC’s academic programs, enrollment process and student life. You’ll receive a guided tour of the campus from one of YC’s Student Ambassadors or staff members.  

    • Please reserve your tour at least 2 weekdays in advance. 
    • Tour days and time slots are subject to availability.
