Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College!

Ready to get your hands dirty and learn about winemaking from the ground up? Come be a part of our annual grape growing season at the Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College!

Our almost 13-acre vineyard is home to 11 different grape varieties, and we rely on enthusiastic community volunteers like YOU to help us to do what it takes to ultimately bring in the crop. It's a fun and educational experience where you can work alongside our students and staff, learn about viticulture, and play a crucial role in creating the next vintage of Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College wines.

Vineyard volunteer opportunities are available all year. Harvest typically runs from early August through mid to late September. We'll provide all the tools, training, and good vibes you need for a successful day in the vineyard.
